We understand every project is different, but we try to keep to a similar 'tried and tested' framework as explained below.

1- Initial free consultation - This is usually carried out by Lee, to assess feasibility of the plan, offer practical design advice as well as talk through the Planning and Building Regulation process in further detail.

2- Design Quote - Lee will provide you with a comprehensive written quote for the Planning and Building Regulation stages.

3- Survey - Following acceptance of the design quote, a full measured survey will be carried out to enable us to provide you with accurate drawings for the purposes of submitting to Planning and Building Control.

4- The design - We will then work on the design of the proposal, taking in to account the relevant Planning and Building Regulation constraints/policies.

5- Submitting the plans - Once the plans have been completed and agreed, we will take care of the applications to Planning and Building Control on your behalf.

6- Building meeting - Both Lee and Luke usually attend this meeting with our clients, to begin preparations for construction.  This will include talking through logistical implications (eg. site access, removal of waste) as well as proposed timescales.

7- Building Quote - Following a meeting of the company directors and clients, we will go away and put together a full, detailed quote, breaking down each service that will be included in our quoted figure.

8- Acceptance of quote/final pre commencement meeting - Following acceptance of the quote, we will put together a schedule of works (including a staged payment schedule) so our clients know what to expect throughout the building process.  This gives you an opportunity to ask any questions/talk through each stage in more detail before we start on-site.  

9- Commencement/the build - This part speaks for itself; on the agreed date, we will arrive to begin the project- we will keep you updated as the project progresses and liaise with Building Control to ensure that all site inspections are being carried out in accordance with Building Regulations.    We'll always aim to keep disruption to a minimum, however a building project is quite an intrusive undertaking, so prepare for some noise/dust...and plenty of cups of tea to be drank!

10- Completion/sign off - Once the build is completed and you're happy, we'll ask Building Control to attend site to sign off the project.

11- Smile and recommend - This is a very important part of the process; enjoy your new space we've created for you... and don't forget to tell everyone about it!!
